The Ditchling Candle Company began with a simple belief: that the things we live with should be made with care, or not made at all.

We are a small team of makers based in Ditchling, a village in the Sussex Downs with a long love of craft. We pour candles by hand, in small batches, using natural wax and fragrances developed slowly, so they age well and burn cleanly from the first light to the last.

We make alongside ceramicists and perfumers who are the best at their craft. And we work in seasons, so the range changes through the year. Some scents come back each year. Some are made once and never again.

We keep the range small and we make things well.
